Neck & Shoulder Release

$40.00

This class series includes lessons that I have found helpful for myself and clients to help retrieve more mobility, stability and ease in in the movement of the neck and shoulders. It is an opportunity to know yourself better to better understand what’s happening in your movement patterns that could inhibit maximum efficiency.

This class will offer you time to bring more awareness and make better connections from head to toe, and particularly to the movement of the head and shoulders. This will allow you to better spread the movement effort throughout all of yourself, so you can fully enjoy your daily life activities!

Note that I do not pretend to be a physical therapist or a physician. The Feldenkrais® Method has helped me more than any other approach to heal chronic pelvic pain, recover from car accidents (yes, more than one) and a shoulder surgery. I have been teaching movement for 35 year and have chosen to continue in this profession in order to share its benefits with as many people as possible.

Retrieve power in learning how to integrate more of you in a harmonious way in your day-to-day activities.

Duration : It includes 4 lessons of about 30min each, to do at your own pace.

These classes, guided by speech, will help you improve your daily comfort, your performance in sports, or your presence on stage.

I urge you to move, without judgment, with:

  • The curiosity of an engineer, always seeking to look from a new angle to find new solutions.
  • The creativity of an artist, changing perspectives and bringing new colors to their palettes.
  • The listening skills of a musician, with tempos, staccatos, and adagios in motion.
  • The naivety of a child, who is discovering how to move and be in contact with his environment for the first time.

By drawing inspiration from all of these options, you will regain confidence in your innate sense, just as you were taught to walk without being told how to do it.

By experiencing the idiosyncrasies associated with movement (ease / difficulty, smoothness / trepidation, tension / relaxation, etc.), you will pay more attention to how the movement is performed, rather than worrying about its magnitude.
