Do you tend to tighten your jaw? Perhaps from anxiety, or perhaps your dentist told you that you need a night guard because you grind your teeth at night?
Or perhaps you developed tension in your facial muscles from wearing a mask during the pandemic? I certainly did.
Or perhaps you’ve taken my pelvic floor class and you now know there is a relationship between the jaw, tongue and the pelvic floor?
The night guard can be a temporary solution. I mean, wouldn’t you rather unlearn a habit and wake up with a rested face, mouth and neck?
This class series can help with:
-Reducing Jaw tension
-Improving enunciation
-Reducing eye and facial tension
-Chewing with more easy
-Reducing neck pain
-Help with pelvic pain (Facia runs from your pelvic floor to the mouth
-Reducing anxiety and improving sleep
-Calming your nervous system
These are very gentle lessons. I’m here to teach you principles and not how to use your jaw. These classes are meant to bring awareness so you can apply what you learn in your daily life.
Note that I do not pretend to be a physical therapist or a physician. The Feldenkrais® Method has helped me more than any other approach to heal chronic pelvic pain. I have chosen this profession in order to share its benefits with as many people as possible.
Retrieve power in learning how to integrate more of you in an harmonious way in you day to day activities.
Please fine a comfortable place to lie on the floor for this class, ideally on a mat or blanket. If this is not a possibility or brings discomfort, you can lie on a firm bed.
